I have the 670G. I love it. There are pretty steep learning curves, and things like occasionally taking a blood glucose in the middle of the night to stay in auto Mode. Overall a few inconveniences to stay within my range, 70-180, 85% of the time with no extra effort on my part. Best part is exercising. I don’t have to adjust my basal. It does the work for me. I still carry sugar but rarely need it. If you want the customization that an auto/closed-loop pump can’t give you, I suggest the little sister pump, the 630G. All the bells and whistles of a more traditional pump, but a few extras. It has a suspend basal before low option which is amazing!! It made a huge difference in how much sugar I was taking for low corrections. Definitely have the tandem users weigh in too, but there’s my 2 cents.
Thank you! Exercising is my main concern as I work out everyday and I am used to unplugging because if I suspend then my cgm stops working, a major flaw with the vibe. Also my basal rates are difficult to program and I deal with a lot of lows overnight with some of them not accurate. This can be so frustrating. I looked at my history and it went off 12 times the other night. When I adjust my insulin level then I can go hish because I am very insulin sensitive, around 16 total units a day with eating about 80 grams of carb per day. I appreciate your input.
I don’t recall ever going low overnight since I went in auto mode. I can also say I had fewer lows while on the 630G and it “suspended before low.”
