Can I just ask. If you’ve not used your mask enough or if you’ve not got it yet. Is it just me or do others seem to get a sore throat most evenings? And swollen like glands? Or should I see my dr. Yet again?

I`d get yourself checked over asap Hugh,if you have problems with your glands and throat, that seems like an infection to me,and would be surprised if it is linked to your apnea.

Well I used to snore quite heavily before using cpap, but not too the extent it left me with a sore throat and glands.

Some times when I wake up I feel the same thing but it goes away fairly quick after I wake up

Before I got my bipap, I woke up a few times with my uvula so swollen that I felt like I couldn’t breathe. Snoring can definitely do that! Haven’t had it happen since I’ve started treatment.

Oh I have to admit... I didn’t have my glasses on then and had to read the first two lines again

My doctor told me he had some patients get it so bad that their uvula was basically glued to their tongue.

It’s normal. If my power is out and I can’t use it my throat is so bad it’s like it closed up almost. Awful feeling
