Has anyone had success with anti-cramping pills? I've taken mine and it's not working. Do you have to take it regularly to build up in your system or? I want them to work so badly

if you're talking about anti-spasmodics...use sparingly. ask your doc about them. they will help. I used to use bentyl. not sure they have that one still. one gave me horrible dry mouth. you don't want that one.

The only thing that helps my cramping is Tylenol. None of The antispasmodic's do a thing for me.

...however, I take Excedrin or Aleve...not that it helps entirely.

Kamille, I think Aleve is not compatible with our diseases. You should ask your Dr. about that. It's classified as an NSAID which can cause bleeding.

I was told Aleve is the ONLY nsaid I should take. It's different than tylenol or ibuprofen.

Zofran (nausea med) helps my cramps a lot. Lomotil a little. Hycocyamine not at all and gives me headache.
Imodium makes me throw up. Pepto helps in an emergency if nothing else is available.

I have to keep them in my system or start cramping right away
