my ANA is positive too but no lupus. I am not sure, think mine is linked to EBV? Not really good with that stuff so if anyone could confirm there's a link, otherwise I'll have to search what it might be^^

I have EBV was tested 1 year ago, my antibodies are high always, lupus could be linked to mine but I have to see a specialist, the labs they did on me, lupus is in the category of the mixed connective tissue disease. I Googled results of ebv today, there's alot that it can tell you.

I had quickly googled this a while ago, because my doctors had been concerned by a possible RA diagnosis on top of everything else, but only thing that showed up despite ANA is EBV

It's very frustrating, i kno how you feel. Not only thyroid issues but it causes you to develope other health problems and it becomes too much to even think about. I'm still trying to figure it out

sadly, once you have one auto-immune conditions, it makes you at higher risk of having another one, and in extreme cases, up to 7, 9 auto-immune conditions at the same time

Yes it's very sad. And it's hard on the family or hubby in my matter, cause he dont have this disease and he's having trouble understanding it and wondering why I'm moody or a grouch all the time, but i dont even know why. I am still learning and trying to just deal with it one day at a time. I got 4 boys and it makes it extremely hard on them, they just don't understand. I stay exhausted and don't even move.
