I read this book its basically trying to breathe through your nose instead of mouth which most asthma suffers do. Take a deep breath you can do this through your mouth and then shut your mouth and slowly breathe down your nose this will open the nose passages up . Once you get going you will feel better able to breath through the nose and less likely to have an asthma attack is the message. They seem to think that its the mouth breathing where you are most likely to have an asthma attack also your throat would be drier you become more dehydrated and over breathe. I think its worth a try
Thank you! I did read that during my research and have been trying today.
McDaniel good I hope it helps you
Thanks, I have a frequent desire to yawn. Do you know if it helps with that?
McDaniel II don't know how to answer that lol is it a medical condition ?
Evangeline I don’t think so. I just yawn so much, I was wondering if it has to do with asthma/oxygen levels
McDaniel well I did look it up and it said it can be caused by The vagus nerve acting on blood vessels can stimulate excessive yawning. This is called a vasovagal reaction and may be an indicator that you have a heart problem. If you have hypothyroidism or electrolyte imbalances, you may also feel drowsy during waking hours, which could also trigger excessive yawning but I wonder if you get that more in asthma too . Would be worth looking into that
