I personally find chiropractic medicine right up there with homeopathy and other forms of junk science. You couldn’t pay me to go to one.
Eastern medicine is junk?

Also, the founder of homeopathy was German—I hardly consider that “eastern.”
No what I said eastern what a lot of home remedies are based on. Yes I know of dr palmer as I am inly an hour from the school bearing his name. Why does everything have to be a bitch fest. It was a question to clarify nothing more.
Next time you want clarification, try not to be so vague. Just a suggestion.
I asked if you neant eastern medicine, not vague! You could hsve said no
I have! I saw a chiropractor religiously every month for 2 years. got my migraines down to 6 in a year. I had to stop due to insurance, unemployment and then new work schedule for 8 months. During that 8 months I had 4-6 migraines a month. I stated back last month and have not had a single migraine.
I see a spine specialist chiropractor. I have rods and screws in my spine so I don’t let just anyone mess with me. My dr can adjust me and stop a migraine
Never helped me. I had my neck go down hill with forceful chiropractors. I see osteopathic doctor for adjustments though but it doesn't help with my migraines. Physical therapy has helped strengthen my neck though.
Never helped ne
Loved my chiropractors, cannot afford to go anymore but if I could I would absolutely continue to see one at least three times a week.
The chiropractor can usually get rid of my migraine if I go while I have one. If not completely, he takes the edge off. Never worked on preventing them though
I spent 3600$ in a year and didn’t help one bit.
I had more luck with massage than Cbiropractor.
I work for a chiropractor and we treat people every day for chronic migraines
Didn't know you were working for a chiropractor, lila! That's great!
Yes ma'am been there a little over a year and got Suzy a job there too. I think about you constantly with your headaches and really wish you would come in. He does homeopathic work too and has done so much for so many with migraines.
Do you accept United Healthcare HMO? I'd love to go to a chiropractor!
Yes ma'am we file United
Even if we didn't we would work something out with ya
I need his info then! I could use him for my back and neck too!

Great!
I was in a car accident a few years ago and got physical therapy along with regular adjustments, and as a happy byproduct of that I had my longest period of no migraines I’ve ever had. Unfortunately it was thousands of dollars in care and I couldn’t keep it up! But it was nice while it lasted.
I've been seeing one for an out a month. Only one migraine since then.
I prefer to see an osteopath, it helps a lot
Oestopath has helped me.
I also work for a chiropractor. I went before I started working there as well. It has helped a ton! The right one makes all the dofference.
Saw one for a month - didn't notice any real difference.
I feel I've seen improvement with the chiropractor visits. I have "text neck", which you get from looking down at your phone all the time. I think that has contributed to the migraines.
I once had a very good chiropractor and it helped. I was good as a prevention. Unfortunately I switched to a different one who put me in traction after doing x-rays. My neck was killing me during the traction. Then he told me I have arthritis in the neck. Never went back to him. He should have done the xray, then read it. He should never have put me in traction before an xray.
U should try acupuncture , its worked wonders for my headaches.
I have an amazing chiropractor. Firstly, he's smart enough to use the massage machine on me first, to relax my muscles before he even attempts to adjust me. My previous one didn't do that and I always left the office in pain. With this one, I always feel great after. As soon as I get my insurance straightened out, I'm going back.
Been seeing one for years. I can’t say it’s helped with my migraines but it’s helped with my neck stiffness
Works for some, but not for me.
Makes it worse for me PT helped more
Yes! Helps a lot!
I went for 6 months. No long lasting relief. Short term it reduced the pain similar to a massage. But not worth the risks.
Yes and it decreased my headache frequency from 1-2 per week to 1 per month. The xrays he took clearly showed the issue in my spine that caused the headaches.
Nope it didn’t help
Sometimes it helps. It depends if the migraine is coming from my neck and shoulders.
I had some vertebrae out of wack high up and went to the chiropractor. I ended up being headache free for 5 weeks! I haven't been back recently, but I know that it can help.
When I was in college, my migraines were so bad. One of my professors got me to go to her chiropractor. It really helped me for a long time. I had a couple years with no insurance and the headaches got real bad again. Until I became chronic/daily about 5 years ago, it helped keep the severity of my migraines down. I still go once a month, but not sure how helpful it is now. But in the past, if I had a really bad one, I could go in for an adjustment and it would help make the headache go away. Another good thing is that if I pinch a nerve, he can realign me and I immediately feel better. If I went to a doctor, they would just give a muscle relaxer until the body fixed itself (could take 6 weeks!). I also had carpel tunnel so bad that I could not keep a grip on things. I had him work on my shoulder, elbow and wrist alignment and it helped get rid of it. I was looking at surgery.
Yes. It changed my life as far as my back problems go problems I didn't even know I had), but did nothing for my migraines.
