I did 50/30/20 protein/carbs/fat pretty tightly when I did T25 a few years ago. I was training for a 1/2 marathon too and had several of the best runs of my life around then! I did see a lump on my abdomen and thought “cancer!” but then I saw one on the other side and realized...they were abs!
Lol all this exercise has given me cancer LMAO
Well, I was born in New Mexico in 1967, while they were still lighting nukes. You never know...
How come you don't follow that diet anymore. Just trying to hear all pros and cons about that way of eating.
I am using it since January 2016, 70/20/10 protein/carb/fat and I have lost 20KG and able to start sports again in 2017, as I was in danger to do sport until December 2015
Im on it right now and I love it :) although its not ideal for anyone of course.
I love it, great for bgl control
T2-No Meds It’s not sustainable- it can accelerate other issues like cholesterol etc Here is my story http://www.masteringdiabetes.org/reverse-diabetes-bob-blackburn/
I want to try it but I do not like a lot of meat.
I have a friend who is off of her BP meds and diabetes meds because of it. If it's done right it's low in carbs, moderate in protein, and higher in good fats. It does not increase cholesterol issues, and like any dietary change it's sustainable if you choose it as a lifestyle...not a diet.
