Sjogren's Syndrome

Have many of you also suffer from rheumatoid arthritis after being diagnosed with sjogrens? My rheumatologist told me that I needed to look out for RA. Upon a few nights now of me noticing pain in my ankles and left knee, I'm thinking I may have to get in to see her soon.

But I've also had many ankle injuries in the past. Maybe I'm overreacting? Thoughts?

I have both, along with Hypothyroidism. Taking Hydroxicloroquine for both sjogren's syndrome and RA.

I only have Sjogrens and I get pain on my ankles & knees at times. Could be just related to sjogrens

I have palendromic rheumatism as well as Sjogrens. The PA is a precursor to RA and causes basically the same symptoms just no actual joint damage. I’m on hydroxychlorquine as this has been shown to give a little protection from progressing to full blown RA.

I was diagnosed RA and sjogren's syndrome at the same time but didn’t experience symptoms for sjogren's syndrome until a view years later. My biggest issue with sjogren's syndrome is swollen salivary glands.
