Hi all, I have noticed that the medicine that seems to improve my overall condition most of all is plain old Paracetamol. I know NSAIDs cannot be taken on a regular basis so I take it sparingly, but wonder what is worse: Taking NSAIDs on a regular basis or allowing the inflammation to rage on?

Doctors have even prescribed me Prednisone but I see no reason to take it if Paracetamol does enough for me. Any thoughts on any NSAID I can take safely on a regular basis?

Paracetamol actually isn't even an NSAID:). But taking it all the time *can be hard on your liver. Prednisone is way worse for your body then Paracetamol.

Oh, That's interesting, I thought is WAS an NSAID and now I've read: " Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is generally not considered an NSAID because it has only little anti-inflammatory activity. It treats pain mainly by blocking COX-2 mostly in the central nervous system, but not much in the rest of the body". What does that indicate about my condition that this really helps me?

Mobic 15mg works for me.

Mobic helps with pain but it doesn't help me with feeling sick and fatigued and brain fogged in general like Paracetamol.
