I find starchy food sticks. Also on a not so dry mouth day I get the urge for potato chips, bad move. The chips stick to teeth and the salt is a killer.
Actually, the craving may mean you are dehydrated. A lot of Sjogren's people forget that our bodies need salt and water for hydration
Oops! We drink a lot of water and usually do not add much salt. Too little salt can cause migraines. New research also shows that sugar dehydrates us more than salt.
Oh really, did not know that. Sugar is not too much an issue with as I am diabetic (diet controlled). So I guess a little salt is good.
I take salt tablets and salt my food heavily.
