It could be a fluke bit I have been having encouraging results with reducing the problem with my tinnitus. I know I need more test time. What if the bulk of our issues are due to hormone imbalances triggered by inadequate nutrition? Who would like to test this theory with me? It couldn't hurt us even if the theory is wrong. Another benefit is we'd be helping other parts of our body. How about it?
I'm up for that
Terrific! Please report back with your findings. I'll do the same :)
Following. And good luck !!!
I eat a fairly well balanced diet that has green leafy vegetables daily. The T persists. I have wondered if it was the caffeine though.
Make a change and see if it makes a difference!
.....one day lol I'm a single mom, working and going to college full time. I have to stay awake somehow.
'have had loud T last nite and this morn so cut out coffee; I'm sitting here drinking green tea. I think it makes a difference. I do eat a fair amount of leafy greens...btw, for osteoporosis, I suggest also adding magnesium and vitamin K.
Thalia Yeah, I had been taking magnesium and vitamin D but not the calcium. At the time I thought my diet was sufficient. In retrospect, not so much. I'm trying to eat something with calcium at every meal.
Be careful of too much dairy.
Dairy causes a major mucus uptick in me which makes my ears feel stuffy, so I usually limit it.
Hormone and other diet problems are easily checked.
So true but I didn't consider diet until I got the diagnosis of osteoporosis.
Have you had a full thyroid panel done? My thyroid issues have worsened my t and have me other vestibular issues (dizziness, headaches, vertigo, excruciating louder than normal ringing). My mom has a thyroid nodule on her parathyroid that went unnoticed for years, it prevented her from absorbing any calcium and now she has osteoporosis.
Hyperthyroid for me
Yep, i'm a type 1 diabetic. They check all the thyroid and metabolic panel stuff. Hormone levels and vitamin D and calcium aren't typically part of that.
Sign me up!!! Dairy, sugars, junk food spike mine. I've been working with a new diet & testing my theories. We know our bodies better than anyone.
Yeah A! start working on it and report back :)
Darla, I'm already on it!!
Try taking turmeric too for osteoporosis, I take capsules and also put it in most stews etc, it really does help with the aches and pains
I noticed if I walk more my hip pain goes away. I have a very sedentary job!
I am too old to have a job, only do shopping for less able folk than me, but I do try and walk (or rather hobble) a mile a day!
Great job ehtel! keep up the good work :)
Eating meat cures my tinnitus for the moment
I was doing great until last night. I woke up in front of the TV with the fan noise. T was rocking a strong blast. I'm dubious about calcium -T link.
