I would like more answers, I can't afford to go to the doctor and would like to know. If I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and had my thyroid killed off with iodine/radiation treatment, what is my disease called now?

Hypothyroidism. And you'd need thyroid medication. Not taking this medication could lead to death in the end.

Hypothyroidism because your thyroid isn’t making enough thyroid hormone so you have to take medicine to supplement. You can go to the health department and get your meds filled at Walmart for $4 a month. You really can’t ignore this and need to see doctor and take medication. I agree with Olga you can die from not treating this. https://www.webmd.com/women/features/low-thyroid-complications
