A lot of these problems are connected to your hypothyroidism

With hypothyroidism being associated with everything how do you decide if something is really off or its just your thyroidism? I just had a t.t. in October and everytime I go to the Dr with a new symptom I get told its my thyroid or lack there of..

Maintaining healthy blood thyroid levels will improve most of these issues, but they should still be individually addressed. We can't just dismiss every problem to our thyroid and not take action. I've had to change my diet and lifestyle to make healthy improvements for myself.

Your high cholesterol and depression Kelley both go away if your thyroid levels are gotten up to optimal instead of just "within the normal range" , especially your free T3 level. Mine did. Do you know what your free T3 level is? It Kelley make a huge difference in your life to get your free T3 up (if its in the bottom half of the 'normal range' now).

change your diet it will help , most of these are caused by one autoimune disease... . but you can change it and come off most of your meds.....

I’m just wondering if all of you are on T4 only medication and if so, how are your FT4 and FT3 levels? I feel like many of you are under medicated and still hypo with all these symptoms. I’m so sorry!

AlbertinaSegura
Answered 10 months ago    reply

I have major anxiety, PCOS and issues with my weight and hair growth. My doctor refuses to even check FT3 levels. He said as long as my TSH is normal my issues are not related to my thyroid. Either I am going crazy or I need a new doctor!
