Is it possible to make ice cream with just heavy cream and artificial sweetener with vanilla?

Keep in mind that a big part of what makes ice cream like commercial ice cream is the ability to freeze it very quickly and manipulate the creation of small ice crystals.

I use mason jar ice cream. 1 cup hwc, vanilla, sweetener and vigorously shake 5 minutes, place in freezer 1-3 hours depending. I also make it chocolate, use cocoa powder and a little more swerve, no vanilla. Tastes like a Wendy's frosty! I also have added no sugar chocolate chips, or nuts if you want to use the carbs in that. Land O' Lakes, rich and creamy hwc has zero carbs!

I tried it but left the jar in over night and was left with a chalkie mess. Keep meaning to retry and only allow to sit for 3 hours, just never have the time period necessary

bobbye my husband and I have found that 2 hours is what we like best! And I have him make me a half recipe of it, because that works best for me! To me, I don't like it if it's been frozen for too long.

jarrett, I make something like you are talking about. 1 1/4 cup HWC, 2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 to 2 TBSP sweetener of your choice (to your taste). Mix with hand mixer until it is thick. I put into 1/4 cup storage containers and freeze. Before eating, I zap in microwave about 10 seconds just to soften a bit. I like to add different things like peanut butter, pecans or the Torani sugar free syrups. like caramel pecan! Omit the cocoa powder if using the flavored syrups except the caramel is really good with the cocoa.

This sounds great! I'm going to try except without any sweetener as I haven't had and fake or real in over a year, I miss ice cream though. Just cocoa powder and or vanilla and see how it goes.

Let me know please how this goes I do not do sweeteners either. They always spike my bs
