L’Oréal

Well poop, that’s what I would’ve recommended since they are good and inexpensive haircare. I can’t think of anything that doesn’t have at least some kind of fragrance even naturally from the ingredients.

I use Alterna. The fragrance is quite light but it runs $32/bottle

Renpure coconut water shampoo and conditioner. It has a really mild smell.

Carol’s Daughter is cheaper ($11-20) but it’s a small bottle. Depending on amount needed, it can be more expensive (price per ounce)

I use Paul Mitchell tea tree and lavender. A lot of shampoos bother me, but this one doesn't. It does have mild sulfates though.

Also, color my hair so don’t want to strip all my color.

If you need to go all natural you can use baking soda on your scalp and apple cider vinegar for the ends. May not smell the best, but no chemicals to trigger

I use tremene. I believe it has a small amount of sulfate. I can't use sulfate, but I can use treseme.

I can for sure tell when a migraine is coming when I can smell my own hair! I use kerastase. the odor is light and it helps with my hair breaking and drying out from the topomax but on those days when its coming I can still smell it so I just usually use this lightly lime scented body wash I have. called Soap and Glory (target or walgreens) in my hair. not the best for it but usually light fruit scents don't bother me as much.

Yes the topomax has thinned and dried my hair out a lot. I usually have thick curly hair.

I use the OGX products that can be found just about anywhere. Depending on size, they run around $5.99-8.99. Several different formulas but I switch between Moroccan Oil and Biotin

Do you like peppermint? Trader Joe's Tingling Peppermint is my absolute life saver. It helps me so much with my migraines. It just smells like straight peppermint. Shampoo is not as strong as the conditioner. It tingles after you get out. Which for me is a huge win because peppermint is my holy grail. In store it's 3.99 per bottle if you can get to a Trader Joe.

Is it the smell, the chemicals, or the ingredients?

I use either Lorel sulfate free, they have several different ones to choose from and Garnia has a line of sulfate free as well. I have very curly frizzy hair so I use the curl lines.
