Today I forgot to take my cane with me when I took my brother out shopping (I can still drive, but my brother can't). I was bumping into things all over the place.

I need to ask- is this bad coordination one of the symptoms/effects of Alzheimers or should I be asking my neurologist to look in another direction?

I know Alzheimer’s runs deep in my family, my little sister has early onset. It’s the only disease I’ve ever really feared. Since my sisters diagnosis at 51 I’ve been to my pcp several x’s out of fear. I hope it’s just stress for you since stress & exhaustion can also cause many symptoms.

You seem very coherent to me, you will continue on. I'm only 62, and now have alot of problems after 15 years of care giving, Dad gone, 9 years with mama... it takes so much out of you !
