Weird question but has anyone who had to take Tamiflu had horrible muscle pain with it? It's definitely the Tamiflu it only happens shortly after I've had a dose. I was wondering if it was because of the connective tissue issues? (have flu strain B in our house yay us)

It's not a known side effect, but since you have the flu muscle pain is pretty standard. I know you mentioned is occurs when you take the medication, but it's most likely a coincidence, or like a related activity (so something like when you take the dose, you have to stand up and walk around versus the rest of the time you are lying down, just as an example).

Well, while not impossible of course, I always keep in mind that people also swear up and down they get sick from the flu shot. when what they are feeling is literally their immune system ramping up, so I tend to just take it with a grain of salt, but like I said not impossible. Since it's specifically under the 'no incidents' known heading, it would have to be a pretty rare circumstance, but rare isn't impossible. There are a couple of pretty severe side effects with Tamiflu that I would keep a really good eye on, if you have kids taking it? But personally I would keep taking it over the flu scenario, but I'm glad you can treat it with pain meds since it sounds pretty severe. Hope you feel better soon

Thanks. I have been finding a few people with the same affect. I am one of those people that gets the oddball stuff it seems though I was told to quit taking Bactrim (my daughter has an anaphalactic reaction to it) because I have the weird reaction of a strong lemon taste/ and smell which doesn't sound like it would be a bad thing but it was like this nauseating fake lemon taste/odor. THey determined it was an unusual allergic reaction to it. I did find a few other people with it but not many. I dunno what it up with that.

I forgot about the over the counter one I should have suggested that one to my son. He was afraid to go in because he didn't know if his insurance was currently active. (his wallet was stolen so he has to get a new card and it was coming close to time for it to run out)

I had really disturbing side effects. I couldn't sleep for 3 days and my heart raced and I wanted to clean everything. literally everything. I had to stop taking it to get some rest. I don't remember pain, but it is very possible. I was just too high to notice anything but that my house felt really filthy.
